A former Brooklyn criminal prosecutor, Howard Tanner is now a New York attorney with Tanner & Ortega, LLP, and handles a wide range of personal injury and criminal defense matters. Howard Tanner has provided counsel in a number of high profile cases, including an NYPD 61st Precinct case involving alleged insurance fraud in Kings County, a case in which his efforts resulted in the District Attorney dismissing all criminal charges during pre-trial.

Mr. Tanner maintains admittance to the New Jersey and New York district courts, as well the District of Columbia. He has represented clients in federal court and in circuit courts of appeal.
